昨日は、青葉通り沿いにある1TO2BLDGさんにて英会話レッスンを行いました！

参加者のみなさま、あいにくの雨の中お越し頂きありがとうございました！

2階のカフェスペースを使わせて頂き、1TO2BLDGさんのお茶やコーヒーを飲みながらリラックスした雰囲気の中でのレッスンとなりました。

次回は、9/23に行う予定です！

さて、今日はオーナーのLeeがブログを書いています。

小さい頃の思い出ー家族でイギリスのコーンウォールへ行った時の話です。

Here’s a blast from the past! It’s a photo of me in Cornwall with my family and my grandparents when I was still in primary school. I think I’m seven years old.

This harbour town is called Polperro, and is just one of many in Cornwall, England’s most western county.

As you can see from the photo, it was a lovely day. When the weather is nice, Cornwall’s little harbours and villages really do look beautiful, as does its coastline.

Look at my clothes! Don’t they just scream ‘90s’? I don’t know why I’m folding my arms like that. I guess I was trying to look cool. The thing around my waist is called a bum bag. I can’t imagine I had any money in there though. Perhaps my sunglasses?

Polperro is a very pleasant part of the UK. If you ever get the chance to go down there, I highly recommend you do. You’ll find small local shops, pubs and several restaurants. There’s also a museum, where you can learn about Polperro’s smuggling history.

In fact Cornwall as a whole is a great place to visit. There are some fantastic beaches to relax on, old castles and ruins to explore, the Eden project, the Lost Gardens of Heligan, and much more.

The trouble is there are no high-speed rail links to Cornwall from London, so getting down there by train requires a bit of effort. It can take a good four hours or so. Once you’re there though I’m sure you’ll agree that it’s worth it.
