Hello everyone!
The other day, I made a dish called sausage and mash pie using British chef Jamie Oliver’s recipe.
It’s kind of like a gratin because you put sausages in mashed potatoes and cook it in the oven.
I arranged his recipe a little for my son, but still it was delicious and suitable for the cold season! And I think the recipe can be arranged in many ways; pork instead of sausages, using some more vegetables etc.
You can see the recipe in our Situation class from February 6th - 10th.
The one thing I was a bit surprised about regarding British food was that sausages are a very common ingredient! And British sausages are quite different from the ones in Japan.
So if you use the sausages which are common here, then it might taste a bit different. Anyway, Lee will talk about that in the class!
