Hello, Sendai! How’s it going?

Last night, we had our Winter Party here at Tea&Talk. We’d like to sincerely thank all of you that came. We’re looking forward to seeing you again at our next one.

We set up a few tables with drinks and snacks, prepared some games (and a quiz for the kids) and played some holiday music.

Soon, the guests arrived. It was quite cold outside, but it quickly warmed up in our school.

It seems the food was popular! The hors d’oeuvres from "Tsuzuri Cafe” were great, and the Christmas fruit cake by “darestore” was quite delicious, wouldn’t you agree?

I was very happy to see people trying mince pies. If you had a cuppa, tried a mince pie, ate fruit cake, and had some of the lovely sandwiches, then you truly had quite a British night!

After the opening games, everybody got down to chatting, eating and having fun. It was great to see. We were very lucky and grateful to have so many wonderful guests.

I’d like to say thank you again to Brooke from Australia, and Phong from Vietnam for coming and talking to our students about their lives and where they’re from. I enjoyed the little chats with you both!

It was quite heart-warming to see the young ones enjoying themselves, participating in the games, and speaking in English. I can’t help but smile when I’m able to communicate in English with the future generations of Japan.

And now, on to the holidays! We hope you all have a happy holiday season!
